What I am saying is that humans are left to chose between few historical realities that are defined by inanimate actors. So for instance, in the case of Hilter, there is no way that he could have turned the whole of Germany against the Jews single-handedly. You have the European monarchs sowing the seeds of antisemitism for decades before (antisemitism became an informal institution throughout Europe). A narrative that maintains otherwise is false for sure.

I personally think of it this way: we are historical creatures; had Hitler been born Chinese, or even European but few centuries earlier, he would have most definitely never perpetrated the Holocaust. Would the Holocaust still occur though? Probably, but not necessarily.Haitham Seelawihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13405634373998361400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4407119644081514655.post-10049227788211372122013-10-07T19:37:51.798+03:002013-10-07T19:37:51.798+03:00But according to your analysis, Hitler and Stalin ...But according to your analysis, Hitler and Stalin are not to be blamed for the crimes they committed.
